Coorg Coffee sells a certified-organic Monsoon Malabar alongside its Plantation A Bababudangiri and Mysore Nuggets lines, while Kaveri Coffee's version comes from its direct-trade, fully traceable microlot programme. Because monsooning is a slow, weather-dependent process done only during the June-to-September monsoon, availability can be seasonal even from brands that stock it year-round online — check back after peak monsoon months if a pack is out of stock. Frequently asked questions
Is Monsooned Malabar available all year?+
Most brands sell it year-round once a batch is processed, since the monsooning itself only happens June to September but the finished coffee is shelf-stable afterward. Stock can still run low between harvest cycles, especially from smaller estates.
Is Monsooned Malabar Arabica or Robusta?+
Both exist. Brands here, like Coorg Coffee, offer Monsooned Malabar in both Arabica and Robusta versions; Robusta versions tend to be heavier-bodied and lower in acidity still.
